The Book Circle records
The Book Circle was a reading group organized by African-American women on the South Side of Chicago to “boost morale” during World War II. The group continued to meet on a monthly basis over the next fifty years. The collection includes meeting minutes, photographs, scrapbooks, and constitutions.
CSC Oral History Research Program papers
The CSC Oral History Project conducted a Chicago-wide oral history program in the late 1960s. The collection is composed of tapes, transcripts, and preliminary research and contact information.
Elsie V. Parker Collection
Elsie Parker was a philanthropist and businesswoman active in the Chicago area. After a twenty-year career in the beauty salon industry, she became vice-president of the Parker House Sausage Company, which was founded by her husband, Judge Henry Parker. Illinois Commission on the 50th Anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education records

Walter P. and Ruth G. Trost Collection
