Englewood Community Collection
The collection contains a range of articles, brochures, historical sketches, newsletters, photographs, programs and reports that focus on Englewood's neighborhood events, persons and organizations, particularly during the late 19th century to the early 1960s. Of particular note are the neighborhood photographs and the series devoted to schools in Englewood.
Fuqua Family papers
The papers of Carl A. Fuqua, his wife Doris, and Mildred Fuqua Wilson, his sister, are intermixed. Carl Fuqua was ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and served as pastor for five churches in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Detroit, Michigan; South Bend, Indiana; and Chicago. YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago collection of visual materials
Visual materials that chronicle the initial years and subsequent growth of the YMCA, a social service organization in the Chicago metropolitan area. Subjects include staff members (individual and groups); annual meetings; program activities for adults, teens and children; camps in service including war work with the armed forces (both World Wars), and YMCA facilities. Most items are identified.
