Portrait and group portrait photographs of Oscar DePriest, African American Congressman from Illinois' 1st District (Chicago's near South Side), and his family. Includes images of DePriest's son Oscar Stanton DePriest as a child and as a teenage member of the Lane Tech City Champs basketball team. Several photographs show a wedding reception, possibly for Oscar Stanton DePriest. Of the people represented in the collection, only Oscar DePriest and Oscar Stanton DePriest are identified by name.
