Biographical note
Ken Allen was a long-time member of Men of All Colors Together (MACT), the Chicago chapter of the National Association of Black and White Men Together (NABWMT), a gay, multiracial, multicultural organization committed to overcoming racism, sexism, homophobia, HIV/AIDS discrimination and other inequities through educational, political, and social activities.
Scope and Contents note
The collection consists of personal papers, photographs, videotapes, floppy disks, posters, memorabilia, and awards that document Ken Allen's involvement in Men of All Colors Together and its national parent organization, the National Association of Black and White Men Together. A few items post-date Allen's death in the early 2000s.
