Historical note
INform was the departmental newsletter of the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering.
Scope and Contents note
Issues of INform generally include information about faculty and student achievements and awards, including the annual Ralph Peck Memorial Lecture and Distinguished Alumni Award. One newsletter (INform, Fall 2001) commemorates the 100th year of Chemical Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology. The cover story on Charles W. Pierce, a graduate of Armour Research Institute (a predecessor school of IIT) and the first African American to receive a degree in Chemical Engineering.
