BMRC Scholarships for History of Black Librarianship Course

The Black Metropolis Research Consortium is pleased to offer three scholarships for members of the public to enroll in the History of Black Librarianship course offered by Dr. Nicole Cooke at the University of South Carolina in Summer 2025.
The course "delves into the historical milestones, systemic challenges, and the vital role Black librarians play in shaping access to knowledge."
The online asynchronous course will run from May 12, 2025 to June 20, 2025. There are no prerequisites, and the course is open to public to enroll. It will include lectures, readings and discussions.
