Scope and Content

Visual materials from the office of the Federation News, owned and controlled by the CFL-IUC, the federation of unions in Chicago. Subjects include members and leaders, conventions and banquets, international events, interiors of their radio station WCFL, and their members participation in community affairs. Large oversize color photographs show the St. Patrick's Day parade (ca. 1970s) and a composite group of parade floats. Two films are labels Issues film, and Do it. One film is unlabeled.

Conditions for Access

Advance appointment required to view color material in cold storage and negatives in cool storage; please email research@chicagohistory.org. In order to view an original motion picture film, it is necessary for a research copy to be made.
