Exposure and What's Happening are local interest magazines reporting on African American businesses, activities, and community happenings in and around Evanston, Illinois, through North Chicago, Illinois. Exposure, published by Marcus McAllister and Derek Diggs, seeks to “establish a relationship with … the readers, advertisers, churches, and businesses that need a network for information and services.” Exposure is published through Do 4 Self Publishing at a rate of 3,000 copies monthly. What's Happening is published and distributed monthly by Chicagowest Advertising & Associates.
