Historical note
The Concerned Citizens Commitment (CCC) served as an organization that served the black community in Evanston, planned special events, monitored racial problems/solutions within the white and black community, and provided an ongoing calendar of special events.
Scope and Contents note
The Concerned Citizens Commitment records span the dates 1971 to 1985 and fill three archival boxes. The records consist entirely of CCC newsletters. The newsletters are as short as one page and as long as ten depending on the issue and topics therein.
